“Encuerados” follows nine Latino men over the course of a year within the leather scene, centering in particular on the historic achievement of Leo Iriarte, the first Latino man to win the title of Mr. Los Angeles Leather. Through Leo’s legacy, the film offers a deeper look at the leadership of nine trailblazers who are creating representation in leather competitions such as MLAL and IML, as well as at events including Up Your Alley, Folsom, CLAW LA, and Pride.
